Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Our trip will begin the moment you land off the airport in Leh.

Day 2: Leh

See the famed Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Hall of Fame.

Day 3:  Leh to the Nubra Valley

Explore Deskit, Hunder Village, and the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village on a camel safari.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso

The Pangong Lake, we set off on a ride to the ink blue lake, via the undiscovered and undeveloped Shyok village path.

Day 5: Pangong Tso to Leh

Will passing across Changla Pass (17,350 feet) (third Highest Motorable road in the world).

Day 6: Departure

On last day, depart for the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Our services begin the moment you step off the plane in Leh. We will transport you to your hotel and provide you with a full day of rest, which is necessary for acclimatization to the rare air. In the evening, visit the Leh Bazaar and explore the surrounding area. Staying at the hotel for dinner and the night.

Day 2: Leh

We depart after breakfast to see the famed Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Hall of Fame. We also go to the Sangam, which is where the Zanskar and the Indus rivers meet. Stayed at the hotel for dinner and the night.

Day 3:  Leh to the Nubra Valley

We’d leave after breakfast for a 120-kilometer bike to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest accessible Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Afternoon arrival at Deskit. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Deskit, Hunder Village, and the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village on a camel safari. Stay the night at the campground.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso

After taking in the beautiful and fascinating vistas of the Nubra Valley, we prepare to cross another destination off our bucket list: the Pangong Lake! After breakfast, we set off on a ride to the ink blue lake, via the undiscovered and undeveloped Shyok village path. This route is well-known for its waterfalls and stunning scenery. The first sight of the lake will take your breath away, and as we take it in, we continue on our way to our lakeside camping. The day will come to a close with a magnificent meal and a chit-chat session.

Day 5: Pangong Tso to Leh

We’ll bike back to Leh after breakfast, passing across Changla Pass (17,350 feet) (third Highest Motorable road in the world). The breathtaking scenery and breathtaking views will keep you spellbound during the journey. We get into a hotel for the night. Staying at the hotel for dinner and the night.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, we depart for the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, bringing an end to a wonderful journey that has left us with lifelong memories and friendships.

How To Reach

By Air:
Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport is the closest and most important airport to the city, which is around 5 km away. There are numerous flights available from Leh airport that will take you to a variety of other destinations. Many cities and states have direct flights. Road access is available to get to the airport.

By Train:
This city has its own train station, from which you can board any passenger or rapid train to your destination.

By Road:Roads are a straightforward and convenient means to get from one location to another. Bus service is available from the bus stop and is frequent. The passengers are served by the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC). Pahalgam (784 km) and Chamba (784 km) are two of the most popular tourist destinations in Kashmir (826 km), these are some of the other unique destinations linked to Leh.

Normally Secure Travels expects to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to Mule.

The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kg. The backpack should have a waterproof cover. Suitcases/trolleys/ bags will not be allowed.

Paying the Trek /Tour fee:
The fee can be paid by online transfer/Check deposit/Cash deposit/Demand draft. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email. When your transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up on your reservation efficiently.

Cancellation Policy

In the occasion which you cancel your trek, that is the cancellation coverage we follow: –

Cancellation 30 days earlier than the beginning date of the trek 

— Get your complete trek rate returned in a Trek Voucher OR get a financial refund with 15 % cancellation charges. – Cancellation within 30 days and 20 days earlier than the beginning date of the trek

 — Get 80% of the trek rate in a Trek Voucher OR get a financial refund with 50% cancellation charges. 

– Cancellation much less than 20 days earlier than the beginning date of the trek

Reponse: If you have any of these symptoms, notify the trek leader immediately and follow his advice. To deal with the scenario, each campsite contains a stretcher, a fully prepared first aid kit, and oxygen cylinders.

Weather Risk : No one can guarantee snow, rain, or sunlight, even if we keep a constant eye on the weather. Please keep in mind that your safety is our primary priority, and if the weather isn’t cooperating, we won’t leave the campsite.

Response: The choice to go or wait for better weather will be made solely by the Trek Leaders and Guides.

Risk: Injury is a possibility. While trekking across difficult terrains, minor injuries such as calf sprains, bruising, and other minor ailments are prevalent. Serious injuries, such as fractures or significant cuts, are quite uncommon.

Response: All of our Trek Leaders are trained in wilderness first aid. They’ve been taught to deal with emergencies and have a well-stocked first-aid equipment to deal with minor injuries. In the event of major injuries, the patient is carried to the nearest road-head on a stretcher and taken to the nearest medical facility.

DO’S AND DON’TS ON A TREK
1. Alcohols or any other intoxicating products ‘’STRICTLY PROHIBHITED’’
during the trek.
2. Always pay heed to the trek guides or instructors.
3. Try not to leave the group under any circumstances.
4. Avoid trekking during the nights as it is extremely dangerous.
5. Avoid using earphones as that might hinder your hearing.
6. Do not participate or encourage littering of the places in any form.
7. While visiting the local villages and tourist sites, obey the local guidelines
and instructions.
8. Do not harm or interrupt the local sentiments of the places.

Your safety is of paramount concern while traveling with Secure Travels To Himalayas.
Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of
the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Since adventure
entails traveling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we
will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group
member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in
the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan,
but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
