Kedarnath and Badrinath
Kedarnath is one of the most well-known and frequently visited locations in terms of Hinduism and spirituality. Situated at an elevation of 3583 meters, the temple is part of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. It is the first stop on the Panch Kedar pilgrimage site and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, constructed in honor of Lord Shiva. It is also the site of the highest altitude of all the twelve. Thousands of tourists from all over the world visit this wonder situated in the lap of nature each year. Owing to its high elevation, the Kedarnath Temple offers an 18-kilometer walking trail that begins in Gaurikund. The hike is quite high, therefore it’s advisable to get checked out by a doctor frequently. Those who have respiratory issues may find it uncomfortable at the summit. Trekkers will find this trip to be a welcome diversion after seeing the breathtaking Kedarnath Temple.
This Kedarnath and Badrinath Trip Package continues with a visit to one of Lord Vishnu’s holiest temples and a temple of the famous Char Dham called Badrinath. Situated close to the Alaknanda river and in the Chamoli area, the temple is perched at an elevation of 3300 meters. Legend has it that Badrinath received its name when Lord Vishnu pondered beneath a badri, or tree. Not only that, but many Hindu scriptures and religious texts readily provide background information about both Kedarnath and Badrinath. We’ll make sure you go to the temple without incident because Badrinath Temple is reachable by road, unlike Kedarnath Temple.
While traveling, you can talk to locals, who will tell you more about the two locations and the reasons behind their significant significance in Hindu mythology and religion. In order to ensure that everyone can visit the pilgrimage sites safely, both temples are closed during the winter months due to the heavy snowfall in the area. The nicest thing about this tour package is that in addition to its spiritual component, you will also get the opportunity to photograph some of the most breathtaking woodland ranges, exhilarating peak vistas, and exquisite dawn and dusk nights for your album.
